Alzheimer’s disease is a very serious and sad event in any family’s life together. Stacey Hyatt-Dixon, owner and CEO of Stacey Renee Designs, started an Alzheimer’s fund in memory of her grandmother, Connie V. Gilchrist.

In support of this fund a portion of each pillow sold will go the Connie V. Gilchrist Alzheimer organization helping seniors.
Mrs. Connie Vandalia Gilchrist was born January 23, 1925 in Hoke County Raeford N.C. she was one of 8 children born to the union of the late John Mose Covington and Lydia McIntosh Covington.
At an early age she was baptized and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church. She received her education in Hoke County N.C.
She married Mr. Freddie Lee Gilchrist, January 27, 1945 and to that union 5 children were born,
After coming to New York she immediately joined Bethany Baptist Church July 13, 1969. She was a Faithfull member until her health failed.
Mrs. Gilchrist departed this life June 8, 2013 Due to Alzheimer Related symptoms
